Erasmus students are finally with us. This semester students numerously arrived at our university from Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus and France. We note significant growth in the numbers in relation to the academic year 2017/18 during which we hosted 77 students. Presently, during only the winter semester studies were undertaken by 70 students and we are waiting for more to come for the summer semester.
Newly arrived students were welcomed by our Vice-Rector for International Cooperation prof. Grzegorz Ostasz who wished them a good stay at RUT and nothing but success. The presentation about the university’s history, structure, academic achievements of our students and formalities to be filled in by Erasmus incoming students was given by Ms Monika Stanisz from the Department for International Cooperation. Our c.s. ESN and local association INPRO encouraged students to integrate into academic and local community by participation in cultural events organized specially for them.
We are really glad that we become more and more popular among students from partner universities and await more applications to come for the summer semester.
