Civil Engineering  |BSc| 3,5 years Full-time | English

Civil engineering is currently in the process of changes caused by the global development of modern digital tools supporting the design and construction of buildings. Creating digital twins and coordinating multi-discipline models allows you to achieve better quality of the designed facility and design documentation, avoiding misunderstandings, additional costs and wastage of resources during construction. Digital building models are becoming the information database in approaches such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). The use of templates, process diagrams, common data environment (CDE), automation of repetitive activities, modern work methodologies (Integrated Project Delivery, Integrated Concurrent Engineering) allow to increase work effi ciency and job satisfaction. For this reason, engineers entering the labour market are expected not only to have skills related to managing information contained in digital models, but also to work with point clouds (obtained using laser scanners or drones), parametric modelling (sometimes also the use of programming languages, e.g., Python), working with devices using virtual or augmented reality (VR/AR) and various soft skills (extremely important in teamwork). The Bachelor of Digital Construction course specializing in BIM trains students who are passionate about building in the creation of digital models. This new approach makes it possible to improve and optimize building working methods to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Aft er completing these studies, the student positioned as BIM modeller, BIM coordinator, BIM manager, facility manager, will have all the necessary background to become an expert in his fi eld. Thanks to analytical skills, he can be proactive in identifying the best solutions while optimizing and securing working methods.

Modern Management |BSc| 3 years Full-time | English

The Modern Management studies programme lasts six semesters and allows you to acquire a wide range of knowledge and skills. You will be able to carry out tasks in various management positions in companies and institutions (e.g. marketing management, quality management, project management or financial management). You will be prepared to develop strategies for companies and institutions, manage staff, negotiate effectively, use sales techniques and manage small and medium-sized enterprises. The studies also equip you with competences and skills related to the functioning of new media and marketing communication. The advantage is the acquisition of business competences with simultaneous practice of language skills. The Modern Management studies course not only allows you to consolidate your English language skills, but also to learn specialist industry vocabulary and use it in practice. Studying on this course is a unique opportunity not only to get to know other cultures better, but above all to establish contacts useful for your future professional career.

Chemical Engineering and Technology |BSc | 3,5 years| Full-time| English

Chemical engineering involves production and manufacturing of products in chemical processes, including: design of equipment, systems and processes for the refi ning raw materials, mixing, compounding and processing of chemicals, to provide valuable products. The aim of chemical engineering is to maximise productivity and product quality while minimising the production costs. Chemical engineering plays a major role in achieving sustainable development goals through modifi cation of current chemical processes using “green” approaches and development of new technology for energy, environment and health applications. The fi rst-degree study is focused on: sustainable chemical technology (green chemical technologies eliminate waste, improve production safety and its economics) or on engineering of polymeric materials (polymers are ideal for all types of engineering applications to replace traditional materials with much simpler for manufacturing while maintaining their desired properties). Graduates of Chemical Engineering and Technology have extensive knowledge in the fi eld of complex chemical processes, including: selection of appropriate materials, equipment and devices necessary for accomplishment of those processes. Moreover, graduates have in-depth knowledge necessary for modelling, planning, designing, optimisation and characterisation of chemical processes. They have the ability to assess the technological suitability of raw materials and the selection of the technological process in relation to the quality requirements of the product. Strengths of education at the Faculty of Chemistry are: high level of research and teaching staff , well-equipped technological laboratories, and very good cooperation with employers.

Clean Energy |MSc| 1,5 years| Full-time | English

Education in this branch of study provides the knowledge necessary to solve problems concerning the utilization and transformation of various types of energy. Student understands the processes of energy conversion in biosphere and has a knowledge of acquiring various forms of energy from environment and their conversion to the effective types of energy. As far as Clean Energy field of study is concerned, particular attention was paid on following issues: acquire and conversion of renewable energy sources, highly effective and environmentally friendly energy technologies, energy conservation and rationalization of its use, as well as methods of short- and long-term energy storage. Also particular emphasis was put on hydrogen as an universal energy carrier and storage. In addition, the abilities of calculation which allow the description of conversion and transport of mechanical and thermal energy, are developed, as well as the knowledge and skills related to organization and implementation of transport processes, which include renewable energy sources.

Modern Management |MSc| 2 years| Full-time | English
A graduate of the second degree program in modern management will have a thorough, in-depth, and interdisciplinary knowledge in the disciplines of management and quality sciences, economics and finance and related disciplines, necessary to perform various professional roles in an increasingly complex and turbulent environment. They will have managerial skills that entitle them to lead at different levels of management, at various levels of organizations, not only market-oriented ones, but also public, non-profit organizations, to lead human teams, to carry out various types of projects responding to the challenges of the environment.

Graduates of modern management will have necessary skills to put the acquired knowledge into practice, empowering them to run their own businesses, to cooperate in interdisciplinary, culturally diverse teams, and to solve complex problems arising from the turbulent environment.

The completion of the second degree program in modern management will be an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge, to improve and develop their own skills, but also to acquire a network of global contacts that can become an inspiration to discover new, previously unidentified opportunities affecting future careers. Contact with representatives of different cultures will affect greater openness, flexibility of graduates of this course, broaden their horizons, and enable them to move smoothly in the global market.

Graduates of the second degree program in modern management will receive a professional Master degree. They can find employment as: business advisors, client advisors, consultants, team leaders, specialists; HR, project, or management managers; in HR, marketing, public relations departments; in trade, manufacturing, service, transportation, consulting companies, and in financial institutions; in public administration, in social organizations,  as well as owners of their own enterprises.
