Last week the Rzeszów University of Technology hosted employees from partner universities as a part of the Erasmus project with non-European countries:
Bakhytzhan Kulambayev from Turan University, Kazakhstan gave guest lectures at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, coordinator prof. Sławomir Samolej,
Maia Kheladze from Business and Technology University, Georgia hosted by the Faculty of Management, coordinator Paweł Perz, PhD, Eng.
Roman Khmil from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine accepted by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture, coordinator Joanna Krasoń, PhD, Eng.
Yaryna Borysyuk and Nataliia Kyrychenko from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine, who gave lectures at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Monday's meeting began with completing the necessary formalities related to the exchange, after which each beneficiary presented home university and the scope of scientific interests in a short presentation. The next point of the programme was a tour around the university campus with an employee of the Department of International Cooperation - Konrad Marciniak which was followed by a visit to the Transport Systems Safety Laboratory at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, where Artur Krzemiński, PhD, Eng. presented the capabilities of the truck simulator. The schedule of the visit was organized and coordinated by Monika Stanisz, MA.
Erasmus programme coordinators at the respective faculties organized not only lectures, but also enabled employees to participate in research schemes conducted at the faculties and organized meetings with faculty authorities and staff dealing with alike scientific topics. We do hope that networking will result in scientific and research cooperation in the nearest future.
