The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of DIG-MAN project partners was held at the Rzeszów University of Technology from 17th to 18th February 2020. Project entitled DIG-MAN: Integration of digital tools into product development and manufacturing education is conducted within Erasmus+ Programme (Action 2, Strategic Partnerships). Representatives of the University of Stavanger (Norway), the Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), the Estonian University of Life Sciences (Estonia), the Centoform Srl (Italy) as well as the Rzeszów University of Technology staff: the coordinator on RUT’s side in the DIG-MAN project - Roman Wdowik, PhD Prof. Romana Śliwa, Marek Magdziak, PhD and Piotr Nazarko, PhD took part.
Current tasks of Intellectual Outputs were discussed by the partners in details within the meeting and project management issues were presented. Participants of the meeting visited selected laboratories of the Rzeszów University of Technology and the production plant of the Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów which focuses on gears manufacturing. The visits allowed to familiarize the guests with the didactic strengths of the Rzeszów University of Technology and its connections with the industry sector.
The project has been conducted since September 2019 and is supported by the European Comission and Estonian National Agency of Erasmus+ Programme - Archimedes Foundation. The project is coordinated by the Estonian University of Life Sciences with
Tõnu Leemet, PhD in the lead and concentrates mainly on a didactic guide for teachers and a teaching content for Master Students. Outputs realization supports an integration of digital tools into manufacturing education. An analysis of digital tools for the aims of the didactic guide has been completed so far. The project aims will be reached by the international collaboration of all partners and sharing their good practices. All partners are involved into intellectual outputs.
