Last week was abound in mobility exchanges from our partner universities in the Erasmus+ KA107 projects with Brazil, Georgia and Kazakhstan. For Staff Training Mobility we hosted Ms Nino Zhizhilashvili from Georgian Technical University, Georgia and Ms Assel Baidildayevę from Taraz State University in Kazachstan. During meetings with our office’s staff current project matters as well as  future cooperation possibilities under Action 2 were discussed. For Staff Teaching Mobility two professors from Brazilian Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto prof. Guilherme Jorge Brigolini Silva and prof. Paulo Santos Assis arrived to our university. The guest lectures were held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Aeronautics. The professors showed great interest in continuing cooperation on the scientific level after being shown the laboratories, the work done there and the equipment at the disposal of our academic staff.

The arrival of our guests timed to coincide with the International Day organized by our office so they had a great opportunity to attend it. We want to express special thanks Ms Nino Zhizhilashvili who gave a presentation on Georgian Technical University and Georgia as such, encouraging our Polish students to undertake the Erasmus mobility and pointing to the importance of the academic mobility in their educational process.

Except for the laboratory visits the staff was able to see and use flight simulator located in building V by courtesy of Grzegorz Kopecki, Phd, Eng. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics.

The visit of our guests was ended with the meeting at the office of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation prof. Grzegorz Ostasz who expressed his strong believe in developing the cooperation with the universities further on both on scientific and institutional level.
