NAWA: Bekker Program for foreign scientific trips

The recruitment for the Bekker Program foreign scientific trips lasts until May 31st, 2018. The aim of the program is to increase the international mobility of scientists and academic teachers employed at Polish universities and scientific units by enabling them to conduct research or teaching classes at renowned foreign centres around the world. The budget of the program is PLN 19.8 million. The program provides funding for the scholarship covering both the cost of living for the Beneficiary related to the stay of the researcher in the foreign host centre and the mobility allowance. The scholarship amount may be increased if the spouse of the Beneficiary and his / her underage children participate in the trip, and in the case of the Beneficiary with a pronounced disability to a significant or moderate degree, the guardian. Applicants in the Program are individual scientists and academic teachers holding at least a doctoral degree, employed at Polish universities or research units under a contract of employment or a civil law contract.

Scientists representing any field of science can attend the competition. The organizers also did not introduce restrictions on the countries of destination. The trip can last from 3 to 12 months.
