Summer semester 2024/25
This semester we welcome a new group of students under the Erasmus programme and the academic exchange ‘free movers’ path. A total of 60 new students from European Union and Central Asian countries are starting their semester studies at the Rzeszów University of Technology. 22 students from the summer semester extended their stay at the university over the summer semester.
Scope of academic exchange
The Department of International Cooperation is constantly acquiring new partner universities both in the European Union and outside of it. This semester we are hosting the first students from Hogeschool VIVES, Belgium and Università degli Studi di Messina, Italy. The ‘free mover’ path launched in the summer semester of the academic year 2022/23 is still popular among students from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In the academic year 2024/25 over 30 students will complete their studies at Rzeszów University of Technology within this scheme. We are pleased that an interest in academic exchange at Rzeszów University of Technology is constantly growing.
Welcome Day
The students were welcomed by the head of Department of International Cooperation, Ms Edyta Ptaszek, MA and the Erasmus coordinator for incoming students Ms Monika Stanisz, MA. The exchange students received the necessary information regarding the organization of education, accommodation and contact with the faculty coordinators. As part of the Welcome Day students were invited to the trampoline park and this week the Regional Information Point of the European Eurodesk Network together with the Department for International Cooperation invites all international students to Integration Day.
