Our university’s team Legendary Rover representing Pilot’s Academic Circle participated in the prestigious competition of mars rovers at the University Rover Challenge.

The competition organized annually at the Utah Desert in the United States by the Mars Society gathers students from all around the world. They assemble the prototypes of rovers with a great care for details as it is decisive while fulfilling certain tasks. This year the tasks were: Extreme Retrieval and Delivery Mission, Equipment Servicing Mission, Autonomous Traversal Mission, Science Task.

Our team was placed on 13th  position out of 34 teams with the score of 259 points. “We are happy with the score since it is better than the last year by 6 places. Among Polish teams we reached 3rd score” – explains the team.  

The Legendary Rover reached for the championship twice so far in 2015 and 2016.
