On 9th September 2021 representatives of the Rzeszów University of Technology (RUT), Ms Edyta Ptaszek, the head of Department for International Relations, and Monika Stanisz, participated in the general meeting of the Visegrad University Association conducted by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra via the Teams platform. The meeting was attended by the representatives of associated universities from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland and Kazakhstan, as well as new universities applying for admission to the association, including RUT. Before voting on the admission of new members, the candidate universities were to present their institutions. All representatives of the associated universities eligible to vote said ‘yes’ to RUT becoming a full member of the association.
VUA also celebrated its 10th anniversary, and therefore the meeting gave an opportunity to present the achievements and joint ventures aimed at building permanent scientific and research cooperation in the region.
