European University Association and the FAIRsFAIR project partners invite you to the webinar “Building FAIR data policies and services within universities” on Tuesday, 8 December at 14.00-15.00 CET. Participation is free of charge and open to all interested in the topic.
EUA is organizing this webinar to share and discuss the FAIRsFAIR policy and service recommendations for research data management at research organizations, institutional good practices, and the role of FAIR data within Horizon Europe.
Universities and researchers across Europe are increasingly expected to manage research data according to the FAIR principles, most notably through Horizon Europe. Therefore, research data policies, support services, processes, and infrastructure at higher education institutions need to be ready for FAIR data. Bottom-up and top-down measures must converge at the institutional level, making this a challenge of strategic relevance that encompasses different organizational levels and stakeholders within a university.
The webinar will be of interest to management and leadership staff in charge of managing or establishing research data management policies and services, research data management professionals, as well as researchers, and others with an interest in research data and Open Science.
