In the 2026/27 winter semester 130 students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Georgia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Italy will begin their studies. This marks a record number of incoming students since the Erasmus programme was initiated at Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz) in 1998. The students arrived from both European and non-European institutions with which the university maintains partnerships through the Erasmus programme and the Free Mover arrangements.
On 2nd October 2026 the Department of International Cooperation hosted a Welcome Day. The students were greeted by Bartosz Miller, PhD, DSc, Eng., prof. PRz, Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Student Affairs, Ms Edyta Ptaszek, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Monika Stanisz, MA the Erasmus coordinator for incoming students. The exchange students received essential information regarding the organization of their studies, accommodation, and the rights and responsibilities they hold as students of Rzeszów University of Technology for the duration of the semester. As part of the welcome and integration programme, a sightseeing trip to the Bieszczady Mountains was organized, which included a visit to the university’s Academic Gliding Center - a highlight of any Erasmus trips to the region.
The Erasmus programme is undoubtedly the most popular form of academic mobility among students. The arrival of international students from partner institutions is always a highly anticipated event, underlining the university’s international character—a quality that has been a hallmark of the institution for years. These Erasmus students become an integral part of the university’s academic community. The principle of reciprocity, as applied within inter-institutional agreements, enables Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz) students to spend a semester of study at various universities; a full list of these institutions can be found on the department’s website:

The application process for student mobility programmes at Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz) will begin in early March 2027.
To promote mobility among home students, the Department of International Cooperation organizes annual events designed to encourage participation in the Erasmus programme. We invite the entire academic community to our most vibrant and international event—International Day—which will take place in the lobby of Building V on 20th October.
Other upcoming events include Pumpkin Day, held during the last week of October, and Games Day, taking place in early November. Detailed information about these events can be found on our website: https://dwm.prz.edu.pl . We look forward to welcoming the entire academic community to these events!
