The Conference will be held in hybrid mode (stationary and remote-online) on 13th and 14th September 2021 at the Rzeszów University of Technology
As every year, the Conference aims to contribute to the academic and expert discussion on energy policy, energy security, and the wider energy sector.
The plenary sessions and thematic panels will address strategic goals of the energy transition. Scientific and expert discussions will focus, among other things, on the following issues: nuclear energy in Poland; hydrogen applications, critical minerals; sector mergers; seeking flexibility in power grids; the new natural gas market; offshore wind energy; cyber security of critical infrastructure; Baltic Sea security; information security in the energy sector (including the security of NATO's Eastern flank); autonomous systems; energy security management; local challenges of the energy transition, economic efficiency in the energy sector and sustainable development.
The conference is interdisciplinary – the issues discussed during the sessions fall within the thematic scope of many scientific disciplines.
We encourage you to submit proposal for thematic panels that extend the subject of the Conference and fit into the broad framework of the energy and climate sector. Panel proposals can be sent by the July 30, 2021 to the following address: mruszel@prz.edu.pl. The person whose proposal of the panel is accepted will be exempt from the conference fee.
Submissions of papers and a scientific articles can be made via the application form until August 23, 2021.
The previous five editions of the Conference were attended by 1,000 participants representing 50 scientific centers, about 4,000 students and nearly 140,000 internet users. We have hosted many representatives of public administration, as well as representatives of energy companies.

EUR 80 – fee for scientific employees with a presentation / scientific paper / poster. Remote (online) participation.
EUR 80 - fee for representatives of energy companies / public administration with paper. Remote (online) participation.
EUR 50 – fee for doctoral students with a presentation / scientific paper / poster. Remote (online) participation.
EUR 25 – fee for students with scientific poster. Remote (online) participation.
EUR 70 – fee for the publication of a scientific article without participation in the Conference. Publication of articles is contingent upon positive scientific reviews.
0 EUR – members of the Scientific Committee (with a scientific paper / scientific poster).
0 EUR – representatives of public administration / energy companies.
In case of no invitation, the conference fee is EUR 80.
