Between 20th and 24th April 2026 as a part of the non-European Erasmus project, we hosted staff from our Mexican partner university, Universidad Panamericana, Campus Aguascalientes. The campus is one of the four main campuses of this private university in Mexico, founded in 1989. It was the first private university established in the state of Aguascalientes. The university offers education focusing on the humanities, business, and technology.

Professor Luis Arturo Mendez represented the Faculty of Architecture, with Martyka Anna, Ph.D., DSc, Eng., Arch., as his faculty host. Professor Mendez lectured on the influence of rural architecture on urban architecture. Numerous meetings were held at the faculty, including topics such as dual degree opportunities, potential research projects, and student exchanges.

Professor Ramiro Velázquez was hosted by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, with Professor Tomasz Rogalski as his faculty host.

The visit concluded with a meeting with the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Student Affairs Mr Bartosz Miller, BEng, PhD, DSc, Associate Prof., during which formal issues of double diplomas and further opportunities for cooperation at the institutional and faculty levels were discussed.
