We welcomed a new group of academic exchange students at the Rzeszów University of Technology. 56 students from Brazil, France, Greece, Spain, Kazakhstan, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Italy began their studies. Additionally, some winter semester students extended their stay for summer semester, bringing the total number of international students to 74. We are pleased that Erasmus students want to stay with us longer, and the number of students interested in participating in exchange programmes at our institution is constantly growing.
Welcome Day
Students were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Student Affairs Bartosz Miller, PhD, DSc.Eng, Associate Prof, head of the Department of International Cooperation, Edyta Ptaszek, MA, and Erasmus coordinator for incoming students, Monika Stanisz, M.A. The exchange students received essential information regarding the organization of their studies, accommodation, and contact details for faculty coordinators. As part of the Welcome Day, students were offered a trip to the trampoline park. A sightseeing tour showing interesting places in our region has also been planned and will take place in April.
