Winter semester 2024/25
This semester we welcome a new group of Erasmus and academic exchange students 'free movers'. A total of 85 students from European Union countries, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Mexico, Brazil, Ukraine and Kazakhstan are starting semester-long studies at the Rzeszów University of Technology.
The scope of academic exchange
The International Cooperation Department is constantly extending the scope of partnerships over new partner universities both in the European Union and outside of it. This semester we are hosting the first students from the following universities: Universidad Europea Madrid, Azerbaijan Technical University, Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, Universidad Panamericana, Instituto Politecnico da Guarda, Politécnico de Leiria, Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Università Politecnica delle Marche. The "free mover" path, launched in the summer semester of the 2022/23 academic year, is becoming more and more popular among students from Kazakhstan and Latin America. In the academic year 2024/25, 9 students of partner universities will study at
RUT under this path. We are glad that interest in academic exchange at the Rzeszów University of Technology is constantly increasing.
Welcome Day
On 1st October students were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Internationalization, Bartosz Miller, DSc, PhD. Eng., Associate Prof., head of the Department for International Cooperation, Edyta Ptaszek, MA, and Monika Stanisz, MA, coordinator of Erasmus for incoming students. The students received all necessary information regarding the organization of education, accommodation and contact with faculty coordinators. The second day under the slogan Integration Day 2024 was full of intercultural and integration games prepared by the Regional Information Point of the European Eurodesk Network, operating since February 2024 at RUT. As a part of the welcome activities students could use free entry to the trampoline park, which is always very popular among incoming students.
